Probably accurate, although to be honest I don't mind that if it tastes good 😠Someone told me Big Y store brand makes their own pints of it too, idk if anyone here has tried that
Sure I'm open to that too! Talenti is the only gelato brand I've seen at my grocery store but I believe theirs has chocolate chips :(
Big y and Hood are good.
I like Friendlys or Shoprite brand personally
Tullmeadow in Simsbury
Shady glen! They don't always have it but when they do, it's fantastic.
Also, Arethusa sometimes has regular raspberry. They have the best ice cream I've ever had.
Those are both CT local but are sold in some grocery stores, or you can go to their locations.
Shady glen in manchester
The stop and shop brand has pretty dam good black raspberry
Farmers Cow is you're on the east side. I'm not sure if they're raspberry has chocolate in it however. But it's my personal favorite CT made.
Came here to say Arethusa, living near it some of the grocery stores carry it.
Friendly's. Depending on where you live, Big Dipper ( available in some stores and farm stands) and Rich Farms ( Oxford and Bristol) are local places that have great Black Raspberry.
Ashley's ice cream has some good black raspberry ice cream.
Deb’s in Ridgefield has pre packed pints and quarts. Well worth a 30 minute drive each way if you stock up on a few different flavors.
Also came here to say Arethusa's raspberry is very good and regularly stocked now (coming from someone who has Black Raspberry on top of their favorite ice cream list). Not sure where you are located OP but my family's farm store in Bethany stocks Arethusa Dairy products. Clover Nook Farm.
My wife's favorite ice cream is Arethusa raspberry, no contest.
Hmmm, now I’ll have to check it out. Not sure if I had it. You’ve been making me want ice cream and there is no better flavor.
Black raspberry > any other flavor.
Dang it. I’ve never thought about how it usually has chocolate and now I wonder why.
Mortensons on Berlin turnpike in Newington
absolutely
I definitely get why a lot of brands add it to black raspberry for the textural element but it is nice when an ice cream just focuses on the original flavor instead of add-ins
Now these are the questions worth asking! :D
I’m the same. Some flavors I prefer on their own.

Hmm good question. Neither makes it without the corn syrup though, huh?
