I can think of several conclusions one might draw from those data. That we’re significantly better drivers than those in any of the other 49 states strikes me as the least likely.

I’ve driven in most of them. Things may have changed since I was last there, but Illinois would get my vote, with Vermont second. We’re definitely ahead of Massachusetts though, especially Boston, but then so are Italy, Mexico, India and Egypt.
