"Native Land Digital" is an indigenous-led, Canadian-based non-profit group seeking to raise awareness of where original Native American tribes owned property. Fascinating…Interesting to see how ‘ordered’ the tribes are in Long Island and how diffuse they seem to be throughout CT. I wonder how much of that may be attributed to topography / geology?

The land definitely played a role. There's occupation along the major rivers.
