Don’t Block the roads

Lilcoqui17 t1_j67xczs wrote

It’s a one way street and residents are aware and in support.

BryanCalens2ndFamily t1_j68hbp9 wrote

All of them?

6

Lilcoqui17 t1_j68hgc5 wrote

East Street and Main Street are the only 2 roads.

2

BryanCalens2ndFamily t1_j68hjrj wrote

I know a resident on east street and a couple on Main who don’t support it, what say you?

1

Lilcoqui17 t1_j68hoy4 wrote

I’d say talk to the residents down the street that planned it for their block with the surrounding streets.

4

BryanCalens2ndFamily t1_j68hwlo wrote

You claimed resident support and there is proof of residents protesting it in fact, next street over is the counter protest

5

Lilcoqui17 t1_j68hzy3 wrote

Lmaooooo. Okay. Go ahead and film it today 🤣🤣🤣

2

BryanCalens2ndFamily t1_j68i49z wrote

Just reporting it, and warning folks there may be counter protests

1

Lilcoqui17 t1_j68iat6 wrote

Lmaooooo. You’re definitely not from the area. Anyone coming from out of town to counterprotest in that area isn’t safe and if residents objected, it would’ve been moved to Keney Park. You have a nice day.

BryanCalens2ndFamily t1_j68ifkn wrote

Some dudes from John Street was spouting off about it yesterday at the basketball court man, what do you know?

3

Lilcoqui17 t1_j68io0r wrote

Funny cause the marches were announced after the parks closed and John Street is mostly business and on the south end, not the north end. We’ve been following a truck on John Street tho, we believe he may come into the city to buy drugs. We have his plate number and he usually parks behind the legal buildings.

1

BryanCalens2ndFamily t1_j68iwsq wrote

That dude might be surveillance or something for the John Street boys for the doubter protest, how long he been visiting the neighborhood ?

1

Lilcoqui17 t1_j68j2do wrote

John Boys? You mean the Solids? I think they’re the ones who control that turf.

1

BryanCalens2ndFamily t1_j68jmbf wrote

There’s a few I see passing through, some dude Feli and about 4 or 5 are late late at night and Rique and a buncha dudes just hang out all day morning til Midnight or so

2

Lilcoqui17 t1_j68jo57 wrote

So?

1

BryanCalens2ndFamily t1_j68k1q2 wrote

They was up in arms at the court about the protest going near them. Guess nobody let them give the OK

2

Lilcoqui17 t1_j68kt6c wrote

They don’t have to be notified. If they want to make calls without permission of the committee, they’ll be reprimanded.

1

BryanCalens2ndFamily t1_j68l60q wrote

He is familiar with governmental procedure but he get mad mad sometime

2

Lilcoqui17 t1_j68k220 wrote

I just realized, you got to know folks in the crackhead park that weren’t allowed at Bum Park on Park and Main due to drug use. 💀 Have a nice day

1

BryanCalens2ndFamily t1_j68k9nc wrote

Just be safe, dem dough King John Boy he call himself he mad about the protest but he did say at very least it’s black-led he say

1

Lilcoqui17 t1_j68kg4g wrote

I’ll make sure to let my uncles know and speak to him. My uncle is currently serving 13 life sentences but the others are out. I’ll be fine

BryanCalens2ndFamily t1_j68kpr7 wrote

As long as they leave King Boy be he usually tame but he mad with inflation and the Fed and loan rates, I guess his finance is hurting with the legal cannabis sale too. A lot of Hartford boys are going to the dispo now and John Boy ain’t pushing the weight he used to, they say. I don’t ask much but keep my ear to the street

1

Lilcoqui17 t1_j68kwqm wrote

Idk what you’re talking about now. But we just called the black panthers to join us. Enjoy your day sir.

1

BryanCalens2ndFamily t1_j68ljqe wrote

I’m not trying to get in with you n him. That’s y’all business. But Mambo Kimba from the upper room on That lil offshoot off Albany, near the church n the stadium was mad mad up in arms over the idea of a white led protest on the steps on his home so he is the one you may need to appease

1

Lilcoqui17 t1_j68km9h wrote

Just in case too, I’ll call my stepdad in case they wear yellow and black. They should join us instead.

Lilcoqui17 t1_j67wy5j wrote

Hartford at 1 beginning at Lozada park on East street in Hartford and down to the police station.

11

theOGlib t1_j6869lr wrote

Is it black-led?

Lilcoqui17 t1_j686dmq wrote

Yeah but that doesn’t matter. Anyone who supports reform and unity is welcome.

BryanCalens2ndFamily t1_j68hdha wrote

Apparently matters to that dude

1

Lilcoqui17 t1_j68hi8m wrote

To whom?

Lilcoqui17 t1_j68hr7c wrote

And the question was answered.

2

BryanCalens2ndFamily t1_j68htb4 wrote

It was, you asked who wanted to know, now ya know

1

Lilcoqui17 t1_j68idtr wrote

It seems you were more interested in the answer and splitting hairs. I would’ve go to a white led BLM march in Hartford.

3

BryanCalens2ndFamily t1_j68ij45 wrote

White led? We should never. Let them control our recapture? C’mon man, then John Street dudes is out though

1

Lilcoqui17 t1_j68izyu wrote

Yeah. That’s a commercial section of Hartford. Idk what you’re talking about.

2

currentlyhigh t1_j6e0ax2 wrote

It matters to OP who specifically asked for a "black led" demonstration

numitoke t1_j68z5j4 wrote

Why do people who think the police are bad and should be defunded also think the government should disarm the people?
Do you not see the ignorance of your ways yet?

6

TreeEleben t1_j69gugz wrote

Government propaganda and broadcast/social media manipulation of public opinion on the governments behalf is extremely powerful and effective. Combine that with extensive censorship of opposing opinions and you end up where we are today.

People should be asking why Connecticut police are exempt from our gun laws, and can still purchase an unlimited amount of assault weapons and high capacity magazines to keep at home for personal use.

2

Lilcoqui17 t1_j685zw4 wrote

If anyone does come, please check in if you have a medical condition. If you are diabetic, allergic to bees, etc we need to know that. There will also be narcan and snacks.

4

BryanCalens2ndFamily t1_j68hg3j wrote

Lol, don’t worry guys, we gotcha if you OD

7

Lilcoqui17 t1_j68hmdm wrote

Exactly. Imagine someone not knowing that their medicine can interact with some allergy meds and you get to save them. Or an addict. We don’t care.
