Drivers of the 91

You are the WORST drivers I have had the displeasure of sharing a highway with. First you drive like its FnF being filmed and you are a main character. You are rude and inconsiderate. Im getting over off an exit put my blinker on to merge and YOU SPEED UP. I take it anyway and let you honk as i slow down cause f*** you.

Lastly, EVERYDAY there is an accident and i can only imagine its because the two aforementioned reasons as to why you are the worst drivers.

I dont like any of you and hope you stub your pinky toes in empty rooms.

Nah im not running on the side of the road or getting off at the wrong exit, cause some asshole wants to get ahead of me and hes 10- 20 feet behind. People need to pay attention and accept a driver has the right-a-way. To many main characters on this highway. Saw a car one day side swipe someone doing the SAME SHIT.

A blinker doesn't give you the right of way. Also if you're waiting that long to get over for your exit then you need to learn to plan ahead. Lastly 10-20 feet is not a reasonable amount of distance to merge infront of a car, you're cutting people off which is why the don't let you merge.

Im far ahead of them 10-20feet going about 65-70mph. They speed up to 80-90 trying to beat my merge. ITS INSANE to think you are going to win that. I take the merger and slow down on their ass. They can fuck off and go to another lane.

So shouldnt you be speeding up to match the pace of traffic? Ie if you see someone in that lane quickly catching up to you, shouldnt you speed up to slot infront of them?

This is where the rub is, if im far enough ahead going atleast the speed limit lets say 70 and im way in the clear to get over and actively taking it. Im not speeding up to beat the asshole who decides to do 80 to try and beat me.

What happens if i have to break because of the car in front of me? I look out for me and drive defensively especially in this area. Maybe you have to be there to understand?

If you are in a hurry get in the passing lane, its that simple.

10-20 feet isn't even one car length. And what are they driving that can speed up that quick? Also,again, why are you waiting that late to merge?!?!?!?!? It's okay to be in denial that you're actually the problem. But please learn from this.

I take the merge as soon as i can. Also this the place that has an accident almost everyday. Ive been driving for decades, never had a fender bender. These people maybe even you are the problem. People here drive like they are on meth and it shows.

Furious at the dickheads doing 60 in the left lane, yeah, causing others to have to swerve around in the middle and right lanes to pass them.

I’ll have sympathy for slow drivers complaining on here when I consistently see them cede the left lane for its intended purpose: passing. But that’ll never happen

I agree with this completely. If you are driving slow on the highway, that is absolutely fine, I have absolutely no problem with that, just don’t hog the left lane and refuse to move over. I travel in the middle lane, and it’s dangerous when other drivers have to merge into the lane I’m in to pass a slow car, when they could pass in the passing lane if the slow car would move over. Also dangerous when the slow car tries to pace right next to me or is constantly just off to my side in my blind spot and not ever passing me.

USE THE LEFT LANE FOR PASSING ONLY and get back to the right lane when clear and you’ll be fine. Also passing doesn’t mean going 66 by people going 65.

Drivers on 91 and all throughout CT suck. All I can say, is everyone needs to really be alert, pay attention, use their mirrors, and expect any of the other drivers to act like idiots. Be prepared and alert for anything, because drivers nowadays (esp on the highways) are terrible.
