Hey, I've done a Google and don't see any western European specialty grocery stores; has anyone seen any German/Swiss goods for sale at any of the specialty shops they frequent?

I'm in the Fairfield/New Haven County area of CT. I found a nice selection of cheese and choc at Palmer's in Darien, but just curious of any others.

Also, any ideas where to find fresh lemongrass stalks? Thank you in advance!

In Litchfield, the Dutch Epicure is w/out peer. It’s outstanding across the board. Worth the trip.

Noack's in Meriden on East Main Street is a Bavarian meat shop. In addition to a fine selection of wursts and other smoked meats, they carry a pretty good selection of German groceries.

I have this on my list and I will just go and check it out. I'm sure I'll find many things to enjoy even if not Swiss, hahaha

I was there yesterday. They have a lot of Easter European things and maybe a few western. It's a good shop and worth the visit with reasonable prices

Stop and shop has a European Foods section. It includes some German and Swiss foods. (I’m German and Swiss too) British food too.

I just checked that place out last week! They are amazing- the okra! A large selection of Ghanaian foods also, which was unexpected and amazing. Also, whole rabbit?! It's unparalleled. But... no lemongrass. Maybe I'll ask if they would be open to carrying it, though. hmm.
