I'll be moving to CT in April for a new job.

I come from solid Masshole stock, but I'm born and raised a Californicator.

There's Massholes and Mainiacs. Texasses, Arkansasses and Washingtwats. Virginas and Floriduhs. Ut-yawns and Ida-hos.

Am I becoming a Connecticunt?

Edit - fuck Eversource

In keeping with the genitalia theme, Connecticunt fits the bill. Otherwise, you’re just a Nutmegger like the rest of us.

If you ever encounter someone using the term Nutmegger, feel free to strangle them. It's like a legal hall pass. There isn't even a limit. Just make sure they suffer.

Buddy, don't space it out like that, it sounds like a slur

Probably because it is one

Aight, check it, check it. So you're moving to CT, yeah? And you're worried you're gonna become a Connecticunt? Let me tell you something, mate. You don't become a Connecticunt just by living in CT. It's not like some kind of contagious disease, innit?

But if you really wanna fit in with the locals, there's a few things you can do. First of all, start talking like you've got a stick up your arse, yeah? Use big words and talk about "cultural events" and "exquisite cuisine". And make sure you wear boat shoes with no socks, even in the winter. That's how you know you're a true Connecticunt.

You’ll either be a New Yorker living in the south. Or a new Englander living in the north.

Fairfield Elitist is a common term. Connectuckian for those not in Fairfield County - not a common term

Ah - I was under the impression that there's really two Fairfield counties.... North and south, the latter being the elites.

As for Connectuckians, I did see a fair number of fucking Confederate flags when I visited.

There is. Southern Fairfield county doesn't considered northern Fairfield county part of the county. Used to work in southern Fairfield county but lived in north. Had more than one client say they didn't even realize my town was a part of Fairfield county. They did but they didn't consider it a part of it.
