I’m in Connecticut for college and I see a lot of cars with a US flag and circle emblem on the back of cars, what does this mean? I have never seen them in New England outside of Connecticut.

Sounds like the advertising emblems McDermott Auto Group in East Haven/New Haven affixes to their cars. It’s a waving flag, surrounded by a silver ring that says “McDermott Auto Group.” They are usually affixed next to the license plate. The claim to fly New England’s largest American flag outside their showroom off I-95, hence the flag theme.

It could be but it’s about 2x2 with a silver circle around it and possibly says something on it, haven’t been able to get close enough to one to see it
