I like that they make it with actual sugar as opposed to high fructose corn syrup..

I’ve always been a big fan of Foxon Park. Their cream soda is definitely one of the best I’ve had. Mixed with their root beer it’s probably the best soda combo I’ve found. Anyone else like to mix their sodas???

Just buy their iron brew and you'll be all set lol

I feel like the iron brew always comes a little too flat though.

LOL I am not a fan of that flavor. I swear it's what they get when they mix up all of the leftover flavors hahaha

Like the mystery Dum Dum flavor? That could be... well, highly variable in the results. But definitely an interesting idea!

I live in California and I just found a spot about 30 minutes away that specializes in New Haven style pizza and sells Foxon Park soda.

I've come to learn that birch beer isn't a thing outside CT, so how would you describe it's flavor to someone who's never had it before?

Flavor of Root beer to a degree with cool and dryness of ginger ale

Aka. Really good

It's wintergreen flavored, that's the closest flavor that most people will know.

My spouse says it's wintergreen in soda form which I strongly disagree with but I don't know how to describe it. I'd say it's part of the root beer family of sort of medicinal-ish sodas, but maybe snappier than root beer?

It’s no Hosmer but it’s okay ::ducks::

Hosmer is definitely better. It's sweet without any sugary syrupy texture because it's bottled in the land of swift running waters (the Willimantic River), which imbues every bottle with a sweet bite that you can only get from lead contamination.

Jk jk. The Willimantic River is actually pretty clean, compared to, say, the Naugatuck or Quinnipiac.

the fact that they have a diet white birch is the best thing ever for someone that can't do sugar.

Gassosa! There is nothing like NH pizza and a cold Gassosa. Sprite and 7UP don't come close it's THE best citrus soda. White birch, cream soda and orange soda also very, very good. Foxon Park is just sweet enough which makes it sooo good.

We carried Foxon Park in our store, on an exclusive end cap. Their local rep would come every week, wander around the store, and then leave without delivering a single bottle of soda to the almost-empty shelves. The most lazy, piece of shit person imaginable. I actually felt sorry for Foxon Park, that they could be deceived over and over again by such a trash woman. Taking their money and doing no work in return.
