It does….Every state has attractions. Go to one of our beaches or sea-side towns in the summer and it is all NY license plates. Look up Litchfield county and all the covered bridges. Or Lime Rock racetrack (Paul Newman and Patrick Dempsey’s stomping grounds). Or our old port/whaling towns like Mystic and Essex. Or our world class fly fishing by the Farmington river that attracts fisherman from all over. Or our Striped Bass fishing that is some of the best in the country(we have the world record). All of these things, and many others draw tons of tourists. Many people drive to Northern CT to see the leaves change if they dont have the means/time to go farther North to say Vermont.

The weird way this question is worded implies Vermont or New Hampshire or Maine have more going on than CT does. Even for a tourist, the list of stuff to do here far eclipses anywhere outside of Boston in New England.

When I lived out of state, Mystic was the only thing I knew about CT.

It does it's just low key stuff. Small state, small scale.

It does. We have multiple world class art museums, gorgeous shoreline communities, live theater and concert venues, two resort casinos, historical sites....the list goes on.
