asparagus is beans aspiring to be paintbrushes, they are protected; you need a bean stamp to hunt them

Not pictured was the first course of venison stew, beaver and venison chili, and pheasant soup. On the plate is rabbit pasta, rabbit fricassee, smoked turkey, corned venison, bison meatloaf, turkey and venison sausage. There was other stuff too but this was enough for me. Then cookies and brownies for dessert.

How did the beaver taste? Did the venison help balance it out?

I passed on the chili as I ate a lot of venison chili earlier in the week.

Looks tasty! My husband has been wanting to take me to a game dinner ever since I made him bear meatballs and slow cooker goose.. meat provided by his friend. I will be on the lookout for the next dinner!

When you're serving about 200 and trying to keep the line moving, plating is not considered.
