How many quotes did you get before doing this?

It’s kind of a complicated story, but we got a number of quotes. However, the planning permission changed the scope of the job. We initially wanted the same thing with a bedroom above it, and it has been knocked back by planning.

I don’t really wanna get into how many quotes et cetera. The situation is half of my house wall is missing to the side and I have a feeling a man is doubling the price to get the garage built. Unless this is a reasonable price
