I imagine you need to make a mold. Just hollow. I also heard of people using foam, then sculpting it. Cover it with cement. Good luck and post pictures of it when you’re done.

Acrylic would probably be too brittle. I'd look at rotomolding that one, which is likely how the one in the picture is made. But it you want to thermoform sheets, you could try that, but use nylon, ABS or something like that.

I’d be thinking fibreglass may and resin over a wire mesh form. I’d still want either rigid foam fill or wood struts to strengthen it inside.
