Yea that was the plan. He didnt listen to instrucitons though. Was digging right under my pathway

That’s one mighty hole though. If you do regrow the grass and he does it elsewhere like say you did put cayenne on the new grass and he didn’t dig it burning his nose perhaps there’s some other outlet you could provide him to redirect this behavior

Something that could satiate his appetite to dig like a sand pile idk

Like teething is no reason to toss your kid there should be some viable reasonable and inexpensive solution. In short he’s digging there for a reason that’s more your problem to solve than the hole itself. Good luck. Hope you the best and your furry friend.
