That’s one mighty hole though. If you do regrow the grass and he does it elsewhere like say you did put cayenne on the new grass and he didn’t dig it burning his nose perhaps there’s some other outlet you could provide him to redirect this behavior or repurpose this need for a human plot what have you. Something that could satiate his appetite to dig like a sand pile idk
