Replace the fixture with an led version since you have it uninstalled. No more bulb problems.

It could be a T-5 lamp. The lamps are measured in 1/8" increments. A T-8 lamp has a diameter of 1". A T-12 has a 1½" diameter, so the T-5 is 5/8".

But definitely get an LED replacement.
