At a glance I would say it'll probably rock back and forth a bit. Run your cross members to the inside of your legs instead of over the top of both. Screws will allow movement and wobbling but a tight fitting board in between the legs will keep it stable. Do that in both directions and it should increase stability while reducing the tables profile

Makes sense, plus if I ever decide to throw a sheet of plywood under there as a storage shelf I'd already have most, if not all, of the framework to mount it. Thanks!

Triangles are stronger than rectangles. Corner brackets for the legs will add a bunch of stability. Even 2x2. Same with the h bracing on the bottom.

Super fancy would be 4x4 legs with castle joints and the top inset instead of on top. Also, look at adjustable feet, in case.

Yeah, I think I got some scrap laying around I can brace with. I know I'll have some from what I'll cut today.

You probably want to mortise and tenon the joints for the most strength. If not half lap joints and glue will help.

From the looks of it you're screwing 2x4s together?

Half laps aren't hard. You can do them with a circular saw pretty easy, with some basic chiseling.

To add to what others have said, I'd put the bottom bar on the inside of the structure. It'd look more polished.

So, it's DIY but don't come here with a DIY project and ask advice. Did you even look at my post? It's obvious I did some research.
