I don’t know of any LED bulbs honestly that don’t get too hot to touch on the base where the driver is. 🤷🏻‍♂️ If the rest of the fixture is safe to touch am I good you think?

Yeah, you'll be fine.

I'd still plan to replace it though. Future person (including your SO) won't know / remember that this is now a "led only" fixture

Thanks for responding! I ran a test for 20min and the only thing getting hot was the base of the light where the driver is like you said. Not the receptacle, wires, or even metal but it is winter here. I might test during spring just to be double sure. I couldn’t imagine using incandescent bulbs again but might be worth a label on the inside of the fixture until it is replaced.

If I could find a matching fixture I would prob replace it this weekend but who knows how long ago Lowe’s sold them.
