I should have mentioned that -- I tried hammering out the wheels but neither would budge. But your idea might still work, thank you.
You need a 3 or 5 lb hammer and something very solid to strike against.
Could I use my garage floor or would I break the concrete? Thanks again.
I use a steel plate about 1/2 inch thick and about 12 in. by 12 in to protect my floor.
Good idea, thanks!
The casters have a compression ring on the stem toward the top. Using a pry bar will pop them off.
Thank you I'll look.
You won't hurt your floor.
Thank you.

Hi, your idea worked. Thanks again.

If you’re able, remove the wheels (they may slide out with some force). Place the metal surface on something solid and pound the bent area flat with a mallet and masonry chisel.
