His question isn’t so much how to hold the weight of the shelf, it’s how to physically attach a shelf like this to a wall, since there’s nothing you can screw through to secure it to the wall.

Exactly... I'm kinda lost on what to put on the shelf. I get that there's tons of things to go into drywall, and stud vs no stud... But what do I put on the shelf to hang it on the wall?
