Hi everyone! We recently took down some peel and stick wallpaper from previous owners of our house and found a bunch of spots where the wall had been patched. The spots are raised and smooth and the rest of our wall is an orange peel texture. How do I make the patched spots match the rest of the wall? Thanks!

Is this before painting?
If the humps are minor, feather out with drywall compound and a 12 inch trowel. If significant, you might need to scrape
Any texture differences well disappear after priming and painting
