I made a briefcase with mdf to transport my warhammer figurines however if you bob it up and down a little the latches will open by themselves, is there a way to fix this ? Maybe add more hinges or something ? Its my first project of this size

You could use stronger latches or add a small lip on the inside of the side of the case with the handle on it or the outside of the side of the case without the handle

What you want is spring loaded toggle latches.

Shim up the hook side of the latches so the re level with each other.
