We have a switched spotlight security camera on our back patio. Previously it was just a spotlight from the previous owners, hence the switch. But, now that it's a security camera, I want it to stay on 24/7. Currently I just have one of those tamper proof guards on it to make sure it stays on.

We're doing some remodeling and painting, including replacing some switches. Thought I would check into my passing the switch and making this line always on.

It's in a 3 gang box with 2 other switches. One is for the spotlight, one for the ceiling fans/lights, and one is now a dead switch and doesn't control anything (I'm curious what to do with that one as well).

EDIT - After an extensive amount of confusion I want to add that this is a Ring Spotlight camera. It is a motion sensing camera attached to a spotlight that comes on ONLY when it senses movement in the zone I have set up. I'm not leaving a light on 24/7. I'm not blinding my neighbors or affecting their sleep. I already have a tamper proof cover. Just looking for a way to possibly eliminate a switch so that the camera keeps power. I'm more concerned about the security camera aspect than the light. Everyone else seems to be focused on the light. Ignore that. It takes care of itself with the photo cell and motion sensor.
