Hello! I am trying to set up my Nest Thermostat E in my new apartment. I have included a link to a picture of my current thermostat wiring, but some info is a bit hard to see, so I'm going to explain it here as well.
In the top row from left to right, we have the following terminals:
W, RH, B, RC
In the bottom row from left to right, we have the following terminals:
G, O, Y
In the W terminal is the white wire. In the RC terminal is the red wire, with a jumper wire connecting the RC and RH terminals In the G terminal is the green wire In the Y terminal is the blue wire
In the B terminal is nothing In the O terminal is nothing
I tried reaching out to Nest support as the app suggested and gave them all this info as well as the model number of my thermostat. They said they needed the model number of my AC blower and heating unit as well. I don't have this information and it wouldn't be easy to obtain it. I'm hoping it's not required.
Can any smart cookies out there help me out? TIA.
Edit: The nest E thermostat only has Y1, G, R, W1, C, and O/B terminals. It's not something I can simply plug in the wires into the same terminals, because there isn't a one to one terminal for every wire. I also don't have a jumper wire to install for the nest E, nor do I think one would fit in these tiny terminals.
Edit 2: When plugging in the wires as closely as possible to the original configuration White to W, Red to R, Green to G, and Blue to Y, heating and cooling work perfectly. The problem is when i turn heating or cooling off, the fan runs continuously and constantly. No matter what I do, I cant turn the fan off, including setting the fan to 'off'. This does nothing, the fan continues to run. This applies (I just found out) to both my original thermostat and the nest.

It really couldn't be more simple... https://youtu.be/dHKD-9uI24I
You just label the wires with where they're plugged in now, and then put the same wires into the same spots on the nest base.
