I live in a condo and so I’m not able to have the water turned off for too long. As such, I need to figure out what the shower cartilage is before I have the water turned off so that I can go out and buy it.

Can anyone see if they can defect what shower cartilage this shower uses.

Here is a link to the handle:

Thank you.

Thank you so much! The reason I’m looking to change the shower cartridge is because my shower water doesn’t get very hot anymore. It’s only warm at best. Changing the shower cartridge should be the right way to fix that issue right?

Turn off the main water supply. Disassemble the body. Remove faulty cartridge. Go to home Depot. Buy new cartridge. Install.

There may be a small adjustment screw attached to the mixer cap that prevents the shower handle from turning a fraction of an inch. That small adjustment may get you where you need to be by allowing you to turn another 1/4 to 1/2 inch more.

Wow interesting! How do I go about changing that? Like what do I do to the screw?

If it looks anything like the kohler one it will look like this. https://www.kullysupply.com/kohler-gp77759-mixer-cap the little set screw attached to the red part is what I’m referring to. It helps adjust the hot water side so it’s not too hot.

Ahh I understand. So do I loosen that screw or take it out?

U would screw it further into the red piece. That will allow the handle to spin a little further—up to that red piece / set screw. If that makes any sense.

I’d look for an injection of cortisone!! J/k it’s all good.
