How do I proceed with wiring. I'm planning on converting a ceilng fan into led potlights room. is my switch single pole? can I use my old ceiling fan wire for pot lights?

I am planning on converting my ceiling fan into potlights. On the light switch of the fan TOP has 2 redwire connected and at the bottom has 1 yellow wire. How do I wire this into dimmer switch?

On ceiling fan, 2 wire was connected to it. 1 white, 1 yellow. How do I proceed with this into pot lights. Thanks!

At the fan box white is neutral, yellow is hot, connect a ground wire to the metal box. At the switch the reds are line (one incoming hot, one going out to feed another switch or outlet) and the yellow is the load (hot at the fan box). Again, ground the dimmer switch to the metal box.

Yes, though colors don't matter too much. Keep in mind the switch is just making/breaking the connection of the hot wire, so the reds are hot before the switch (line - always live) and the yellow is hot after the switch (load - switched on and off). It's best to double check with a multimeter but that's what it looks like from your pictures.

No, this switch just power the whole fan. All sockets in the room works even with this switch off

That’s a lot of wires. Is this another country?
I’m only used to seeing ground, white (neutral), black (hot) and possibly red as an alternate hot. And a switch with (3) wires is usually a 3-way switch, meaning there is a 2nd switch that also controls the fan.
