I’m retiling my tub/shower. I’ve already picked out the tile I will be using but am struggling to make a final decision on the backer board.
The local tile shop suggests (and sells):
Ardex TLT boards - from my research this seems pretty equivalent to Kerdi board and Schluter…
One of the tiling resources I’ve been using suggested:
Hydro Ban Board - this seems easy to work with (as do all of them) but this board may prove harder to source in my area without shipping it.
Does anyone here have experience with the above options? Opinions? Suggestions?
