I try to watch this at least once a year. Someday Aaron Swartz may be forgotten, and it makes me really sad.

He was a genius who was facing felony convictions. I was so tempted (at time of his death) to believe he had depression. Now i believe an out of control injustice system paired with wonky copyright law is what did it

The updoots don't come as fast as they used to when people posted this.

Actual activism is dead and has been replaced with pro government, pharma and military industry propaganda. The entire front page is people labeling anyone who opposes those three as crazies. And sadly, it's working.

Whenever this is posted I hand out this free advice:

1. When you get away with one, the police don't forget and the police have your number. Keep your nose clean.

2. If you fail to keep your nose clean, and if the Feds in particular nail you--and then give you a sweet plea deal--take it. They don't lose. Take the plea.
