Backstory: I came to Lofoten to witness some Auroras and of course take photos of them, but what that single night put on display was past all belief. There was a heavy sunstorm hitting earth and clear skies so everything was pretty much perfect. 🥳

As long as it’s dark you have a chance to see northern lights. So September till march in the northern hemisphere. And avoid bright moon phases - I usally try to be in the north when it’s new moon :)
