Curious if this is the Nakia Creek fire in SW WA. Currently in the outer edge of level 1 evac zone.

Looks like the right landscape but much of W WA looks like this.

Yes that’s the Nakia. It jumped containment today. The rain next weekend can’t come soon enough.

I think we are looking south with Mt Hood in the background to the left- horrible air quality in Seattle yesterday. This may be one of the culprits. I’ve never seen the western side of the cascades so dry. Felt like a hot august day.
