Looks like 3 stages of the same island. I knew it. Parts of Earth are procedurally generated!

Why does it look like a dragon crashed and carved it's way through the top of each cliff, until it finally landed on the cliff closest to the camera and tumbled off into the sea.

Love the framing, not so much the editing or whatever is causing the grain/distortion that I can see on the rocks and clouds. I really love the lighting too, it really draws your eye through. 👍

It looks like someone rested a large sword on a very cool stand, and the part next to the hilt rested on the largest cliff in the back, with lighter tip, and thus lighter groove, on the closest.

I was once playing GeoGuesr and was dropped in some farm in the Faroes. I was so shocked by the beauty I just kept moving around, exploring the place.

Absolute wonderland.

According to local legends those separated rock formations are icelandic giants, Risin og Kellingin, envious that the Faroes were not part of Iceland. They tried to pull the island group to Iceland but took so long a time the sun turned them into stone. Been there, such a beautiful place, and interesting folklore everywhere

Was in Iceland earlier this year, do the ring road, it’s seemingly unlimited views such as this. I couldn’t suggest it more.

Those people can't tell a watch from a walrus! Maybe the rules for the procedural generation were... For all I know the whole universe has been a graphics card benchmark for some being outside the realm of our perception. It seems unlikely but the beauty of not being able to know is that I can invent whatever I want.

Agh... It's such a beautiful landscape but the bit crunched colors just take it from an 8 to a 3 for me.

They’re just about midway between Norway and Iceland to the east and west and a bit north of Scotland, so it’d probably take several of these hitting the ocean from space to take out the US east coast, unfortunately

My goal definitely wasn't to make you feel bad. I personally just prefer to have the full color depth in pictures of landscapes such as this. Some people like it, others don't. If a lot of people like it then you're probably doing something right anyhow. Take my comment as my own personal opinion, not an objective judgement of whether or not your photography is good. I do apologize if my comment came off as dismissive or rude.

In fact I would say everything else about the photo is superb to me. You have great composition. Don't be discouraged by little old comments like mine, and keep doing what you love. :)
