What trail is this from? Tolmie Peak? My wife and I are visiting the park this weekend.

Genuinely thought this was a Bob Ross painting.

How recent is that? I'm down in the Portland area and would love a good road trip. Last couple attempts have been disappointing due to forest fire smoke.

You can definitely go up to Rainier still (Paradise area).. just bring snowshoes and warm layers! Tipsoo is just over on the east side and they close the road seasonally. It was an early closure this year.

My favorite mountain on the planet. Paradise is unlike any place Iโ€™ve ever seen. Amazing picture.

It truly is. Few places Iโ€™ve ever been have actually taken my breath away. Paradise did. Especially going back up when the sun was setting and the park was clearing outโ€ฆ. It was like being in another world. Amazing picture! Are those the goat rocks in the foreground?

Itโ€™s literally always like an oil painting there. Canโ€™t wait to go back!

Funny story, I lost my keys and had to sleep by this very lake. I then found the keys by my vehicle in the morning, In the parking lot, right by my car.
