I grew up around this area. It's silver falls, and there's a ton of falls on the trail hence the "ten falls trail."

Also: one of my favorite drives. tons of curves and what-not

Looked familiar, my GF is from Portland and we go back there a bunch. We did this hike last Jan and I remember capturing some video and binaural audio of some falls

This one specifically is North Falls. I think it’s the best one. South Falls is the most popular one.

I think it might be but someone said north falls. I just know the trail name

Is that the backside of water?

BeepBopARebop t1_j1e6lra wrote

Yes! There is a shallow cave behind it with a few benches you can sit on to watch it. It sounds like you’re inside a jet engine.

nimkii369 OP t1_j1d9ddy wrote

Yep inside a little cave I guess I'd call it that

Damn it’s usually heavier in December, I love that trail and that waterfall in particular. That was the biggest one I had seen in my life until I went to multnomah

This was taking awhile back but the place is beautiful

Awesome ! Thanks

It's kinda a local joke. There used to be a sign off the highway some years ago that said 'Silver Creek Falls'. When it turned into a State Park, they shortened it to just 'Silver Falls'

Beautiful! I was there in September and most of the falls were barely a trickle. I need to try again in the springtime.

How is this OC if you don't even know which park its from

nimkii369 OP t1_j1dw8eg wrote

I am and it was part of the ten falls trails.

3

soup_flikkker t1_j1dwdot wrote

You said you think it might be silver falls. Which is an entire state park

Czarchitect t1_j1dy1q3 wrote

Silver falls is the name of the park but there are like ten different waterfalls a few of which look pretty similar. One of these is named silver falls and lends the name to the park but the rest have their own names. OP is saying this is one of the falls in silver falls park but not sure which one.

nimkii369 OP t1_j1dx3x2 wrote

Have no idea then. Correct me what falls is it.
