This is the guide we used, complete with coordinates.
We made the mistake of not bringing a GPS, not bringing enough water, and hiking near a lightning storm, so definitely prepare. I think it would have been difficult even if we weren't complete idiots.

It's already a listed Scenic Spot on Google Maps so just search Cosmic Ashtray for coordinates. But I would recommend the guide as there is a specific dirt road you need to take that is not obvious on a map.
