Gorgeous 😍 😍

I remember the first hike I did up the Ko’olau, think it was Mariners Ridge. I was stunned at being able to see all of the Windward side, turn around, and see Hawaii Kai. Still makes me smile.

My art teacher in HS (65) said mountains like this do not exist. He didn't get out much or saw a Natural Geographic mag.

I must have gone the easy way, because we never had to go anywhere that high to get there.

I have to say they are almost unbelievably beautiful even in person

My girlfriend and I went to Manoa falls and decided to take an offshoot trail to one of the look outs, probably a good 5 or more miles round trip from the falls. The mud and rain and exhaustion were totally worth it
