Nah - this would be somewhat facing tunnel view based on the perspective. Have fun ! Such a magical place.

How right you are. Had friends who were obsessed with Yosemite but I couldn’t grasp why. And then finally got there myself. Tunnel View at sunrise took my breath away. Didn’t get it back until we were back in town…though me being out of shape and hiking may have contributed to that lol

Yellowstone is my favorite place on earth, but seeing Yosemite for the first time was truly surreal. Yellowstone is a 10/10, has everything, but it's so spread out. Yosemite is like taking 80% of Yellowstone's beauty and cramming it into 5% of the area.

At some point I will get to a National Park but I had not decided on one until this post and chain of comments. Yosemite it is for me! Zoomed in and really grasped the vastness, the scale of it. Grand Canyon was leading the pack earlier but just got lapped, but I still want to walk on the Sky Bridge, maybe ride a poor donkey around, who knows get wild with it.

It's from four mile trail, you're looking south west. Tunnel view would be west south west. Trying to see horsetail from Tunnel view would be looking north east but the nose of El cap would block the view.
