We don't have a sensor that can actually do what a nose can do, it can come close and be trained but smell is actually wildly complex and fluctuates in a way that is amazingly hard to figure out.

Yep, i believe that too we are programmed and the complex working of our whole body or mind can be recreated it kinds of remind me of transformers. It's exciting yet scary

As far as I know, these are aspects of intelligence that aren’t even being explored wrt AI. If anyone knows of any research being done in this realm (that is, imbuing AI with the ability to taste, feel as pure sensation) please provide a link.
