It will either stop existing or the banks will own all of it.

Accurate. Without the support of an organized banking system, crypto will continue to flounder and eventually drown.

And given the technical limitations, I don't see any serious bank embracing it beyond a token level of interest.

There is no future for crypto. People see now it has no real value and it is perfect for creating frauds and Ponzi schemes.

The main function of crypto has always been to make real money and to a lesser degree avoid law enforcement. Both of those things have a target audience so crypto or something similar will continue to exist for a long time. Why some people who are not directly profiting from crypto still desperately seek a use for it is a mystery.

All I am saying crypto is virtual, it is not real money with lets say value set in gold.

I think it was created for money laundry.

All money used today is in fact also virtual and not real money. That’s what fiat is.

It's far too easy for people to manipulate atm. I hate to say it but there could be some regulation on large crypto businesses(exchanges, stable coins ,etc ). Harkens back to the 1800 stock market though I guess.

it's still not really viable as a currency because of the wild swings in it's value, if it doesn't make the jump from investment option that bets on other people thinking they can eventually sell it for more it will keep being a thinly veiled scam

I write for a progressive digital marketing agency, and the company has shied away from asking me to write anything about cryptocurrency. This is fortunate because after 4 years of research, I still can't explain why crypto has ANY value.
