One of my favorite quotes is from the man…

*”If you want to improve, be content to be thought foolish and stupid.”*Epictetus

Motivating words, Im stuck in a loop, keep wanting to do better, to improve myself but always fall short into my bad habits and get nowhere, I cant afford to be stuck in this loop any longer. Thanks for this post needed it!

I like the listening to ones, spiritual and moral code and based on that creating a compelling vision. However the next to step is to create a good plan that leads to clear action. After a day of action listen learn and repeat. No need for the nagging

I appreciate that he said "spiritual program". Being true to yourself is a commitment to some kind of personal programming of the mind and conditioning of the body, otherwise you're just swinging in the dark hoping you strike a light switch. This is something I've always known, but over the years have grown more capable of commiting to and the results are satisfying.
