This was written by someone unfamiliar with risk quantification. How about “get better at determining when a risk is real or just in your head”, because taking unnecessary risks where the upside isn’t worth the downside isn’t a good thing.

All risks are not created equal. Sometimes what you learn is not worth it. Sometimes the risk is all in your head. Sometimes the risk kills you. Take the risk if only you can weather the failure.

Just make sure that you can still rise back from it. There are people out there who got their entire life ruined cause they took the risk.

(laughs) We don't have grades here. A student either learns and gets an "L" or they fluctuate in their learning.

And what do we get for that?

An "F".

Never let a good failure go to waste, take notes while doing and when-not if-you fail: reflect and try again.

Accept that you will fail on the outset and your failure will lead to success.

A loss is a loss. There is nothing to learn from losing when there is risk.

Sure, if the thing you lost isn't your life.
