As long as "who you are" is some fabulous blue-skinned ballerina dude and "who you are not" is some balding fat-ass on reddit.

You never know, there might be a fabulous ballerino hiding within any given fat-ass

Shave the head. Lose the lbs. Learn to dance - and if dance isn't your thing, find something else that is that also exercises the body and spirit.

Yeah, I know, your skin still isn't blue. But I think that's just kinda shallow.

So wasteful of life. You'll have plenty of time for that when you die just like everyone else. Get out there and do something while you can.

I only would consider it a waste if life was any good

Life doesn’t own anyone anything. We have to make it what we want it to be. Yes there are extraneous circumstances but there are also millions of success stories out of places no one thought there would be. Don’t give up homie.

I like this.

It's basically intended to those who feel tired of being who they are (the person stuck in a job, the person who doesn't feel their life went like they had hoped).

It's saying that the more you wake up saying "ugh, I hate my life I hate who/what I am" etc. The more you find that motivation and desire to change to what you WANT to be.

Makes sense?

ngl I thought this was Elden Beast at first glance.

I am not Elden Beast, and I can completely bear not being Elden Beast.

I guess basically be yourself. "The longer you spend being yourself, the less you will want to be anyone else" I guess...?

If you are genuinely a horrible person who has been faking nice but then you start spending more time being horrible, You will have a harder time faking. Or, if you are genuinely not horrible but have been pretending to be, you won't want to be anymore. So, which is it?

Schnozzlerite t1_jd4qhu6 wrote

I think it's implied that you have to work on yourself also. So if someone's a "horrible" person, they need to actually change and improve themselves, rather than only pretending they're better / pretending they're someone else.

I think it’s referring more towards your authentic self. Not the mask you have in front of friends and the persona you carry on nor the mask you have when with family, but when you are alone and your most vulnerable and genuine self. I think this can also refer to your ambitions and aspirations that aren’t created by external influences such as your parents wanting you to be a doctor, lawyer, etc. or even what the world expects of you, but rather what YOU actually want and who you want to be. I think it means to be you despite any fear of being judged.

Hm, thanks. And honestly, thought I don’t know what I really am, I do know what I want to be. So I guess I’ll work for that and not be afraid of whatever mess I am rn
