idk, maybe you've already arrived at where you wanna be in life and there really isn't anything else you looking for at the moment. Guess this is more for folks stuck in a rough situation that they might of fell into.

Sounds like something a toxic mom would say. Make sure your life is good enough, 'cause it might not be. Ugh.

The quote makes me fee like shit as I did not choose this life and there’s nothing I can do to change it in 10 years. Unsubscribing this shit

10 years ago I wanted to be in a house by now. I settled for an apartment by the ocean, instead—so I took up surfing. I'm probably having more fun now than if I chose paying a mortgage in an unstable housing market. Sometimes settling for things is the right move.

The gist of it is sound, reality is that things change. Especially over 10 years.

If anyone can say that, then they can thank luck more than anything else.

Life doesn’t matter what you choose or want. You just have to hope it give the choice to have one

To me this sounds condescending and doesn't really help much. Who doesn't want to have control/influence over how their life will be 10 years from now - even if you're in a rut? The difference between settling and choosing is a fine line and worrying about future regret isn't the answer. Do your best and don't beat yourself up for your choices - just grow and move on.

Rather, it's okay to look at your surroundings and accept where you are. Uchangeable circumstances might be limiting what you can do, but you can still find happiness.

Fixed it.
