Looks more like a another tree that outgrew and killed its host. Maybe one of the tropical Ficus.

I'm betting the first tree was killed by lighting then probably bugs & rot, to hollow it out. But I came here to question whether that was a different tree inside. Nice to know others think along the same line.

Kinda motivated to not have another person burst out from inside of my corpse, yeah!

Except for the corpse part, my mom did that 6 times. Hahaha. For the record, she's a corpse, now, or at least was at one time. This got weird real quick!

From having people burst out of them, to become a corpse. This story was a wild one!

It looks like a Locust. I have one in my back yard. At 40' I took it down. This past Spring dozens of little Locust trees grew from the roots. I've trimmed them all back except one, which has grown to 7' since the Spring. The little buggers just don't give up.

Well the tree had to transform into something else so that it could become something better.

Motivational subreddits are always amusing because of the level of naïveté in every post. Every single one chooses to view the world as this sickly sweet place, but is that really such a bad thing? There’s also comfort in the known, the usual, the mundane. It’s easy to hate on posts like this because it’s just so different from reality, but maybe that’s a good thing. Maybe we all need a bit of a break from the bleak outlook that is the modern day.

Must be a black walnut tree, nearly impossible to kill

Thinking the same. At my last house there was a walnut stump in the front yard that kept on sending up suckers after being long cut down.

Trees often do this. We can learn a lot from trees. Not everything we need to know, but enough we should pay attention.

Looks kinda like what happens in Aliens. Those little buggers have a fierce determination for sure.
