It always seems strange to disparage like this a person you chose to marry. Shouldn’t we blame ourselves? Going through the big D myself now

Sometimes, people begin doing things once you get married to them, that they didn’t do before. People change, not always for the best. I got hit with a lot of bullets, but dodged the cannonballs.

I can’t lie, my spouse did the same thing. I kept it together for ten years but getting married changed them completely. I still mourn the loss of the woman I was dating.

The meaning of this is individual to each of us. It’s about making decisions which in the short-term are at least difficult or risky. For me, this means leaving my secure and well paid job to start a business. A move I’m wanting to make but my loved ones are not supportive of.

Do it now. Start the business. Don’t quit your job, do both. Your loved ones can’t point and say you’re failing. That way all they can do id watch and admire the time and hard work you’re putting in.

It took me 2 years and 9 months of working a day job and building a business before quitting my job. If I could do it, you absolutely can 💪👍

Free from the feeling of ‘my life isn’t going well’, that you’re not a productive member of society, that you’re not the best version of yourself, etc.

Knowing that if you died tomorrow you tried your best and left it all on the fucking field and have a legacy to be proud of.

I hate these kinds of posts with this stupid formatting. It’s literally just a normal sentence arranged in a way to make it seem like it’s a literary piece.
