I've biked and rode the bus away from The Webster. It's not the best area but It's hard to say it's actually dangerous.

Are you concerned about parking your car? Or taking the bus?

There's not really anything in the area open too late, so it's only really about getting to your transportation. Car is fine as there is a paid lot or plenty of street parking where you'll be amongst other concert goers.

Bus can be a little sketch because the stop is a little walk away.

To add to this: if you plan on driving a car and parking, show up early! We recently tried to go to a show there and we were showing up later due to work, and the paid lot was full and all the street parking in a mile radius was chuck full. I've probably walked farther for a show but I was not having it that day

Try to get to the show early, if you don’t want to pay for parking. There’s street parking next to and behind the venue, but can fill up quickly depending on the event. I’ve been going to the Webster since I was a kid, you don’t have to worry about the area that much, but if it is in you concern, the closer parked to the venue the better.

You’re safe, just pay attention to ur surroundings cause a city is a city after all! also stay away from Park St. (not that close walking distance, but in case u plan on it in the future) :)

I go to the Webster all the time. That area has a lot of apartment buildings. I remember last summer the apt across the street had fire works going off when I was leaving my concert.

Pro tip: don't pay for parking there, its like 20$. It's free on the surrounding streets. Yes it's a little sketchy walking alone late at night. But I garentee you'll find parking close enough the the venue that you won't be walking alone more then 5 mins. And if the show is popular enough, by the end people will be leaving the area at the same time as you, you won't really be alone

An Uber to and from will be cheaper than parking in their lot ( $20). Enjoy the show!
