I've been practically pulling my hair out trying to find a therapist/psychiatrist in Hartford. I want someone to talk to, but also like having a team that can work together to provide medications and treatment.

Does anyone have advice for practices I can reach out to? I've seen places that have 6+ month waitlists which is insane.

Work has been awful without my ADHD meds but I can't get into my PCP for 5 months either. This is getting ridiculous and every time I see the insane wait times I give up. If I dealt with this 6 months ago this would already be resolved, but what can ya do.

Someone I know had a very positive experience with Tides of Mind Counseling, I think the closest office to you would be Middletown but they do telehealth as well if you can’t get to an office. I know they don’t have a huge waiting period and can probably at least help you get a refill short term

Liberty Integrated Behavioral Health in the New Britain area is very responsive and has both therapy and med consults/follow-ups.

Try looking up Carol Lamson. I worked with her for a while and cannot recommend her highly enough. And if she isn't accepting new patients, I'd bet she'd have a pretty solid recommendation for you.

Turning Leaves in Southington is excellent and they do in person and remote sessions if you can not find one in Hartford
