The beginning and end - you get what you pay for.

" usually run around apartment if food is left out" Tenant fault. Don't be a pig. " took too long to remove" Pick it up and put it in the trash. Tenant problem. " handled poorly and took 1.5 months to repair" Could be a valid complaint, but without knowing how severe, what the fix required was, and nowadays particularly whether there were supply chain holdups, hard to tell. "Due to packages being stolen" Working as intended, unless you want your things stolen. Are you paying extra for them to stay open? Didn't think so. "not turned off until fire department arrives at the building" Working as intended. Apartments are so dense chances can not be taken. "Packages have been stolen previously" Your fourth issue took care of this, but is not enough apparently. "Elevators are either constantly broken" If you are disabled call the state. If not, walk. " stove does not light without the use of a lighter." If the pilot is off, this is normal. Do they pay the gas bill? Maybe they shut them off? "trash is often piled up near the door" How are pigs for neighbors a management problem?

It's a crappy place to live, but you get what you pay for

Cool vibes there but I rarely ever see more than a couple of tables filled and that area is sketch

This is the fourth time in ten years they have been in their last week before closing, it will be a shame to see them go, but "boy who cried wolf" comes to mind and I think the owners are playing fast and loose with people's jobs.

First sentence of the article says they're looking for another location, so maybe there is hope. Dang, i just moved here and was looking forward to checking out it out :/

No new location according to the linked story.

That neighborhood has been rough since they opened. I started going when they opened, and never had any issues.

CT also doesn't have tolls, correct?

IDK but I constantly see people talking about moving to CT because of it's policies, despite the higher tax, so I think we might have to agree to disagree on that.

I moved to CT from a state where we had increased registration fees and no property tax on cars. The combination of my taxes and registration fees is way more here than it was in my prior state. And I drive a 2013 sedan. I’m not driving anything new and fancy where I’d owe thousands in car tax.
