This video makes me sad. That should be at the CL Center.

I work as an Airbnb cleaner. Downtown around these XL center or in West Hartford are the safer areas in my opinion. My host has units in WeHa, XL center area, north end, and Bristol/Windsor. They only ones I'd consider staying in are the West and XL areas. Quality is also best in those areas if you want to be in Hartford directly.

Agree with this comment. I loved mostly on the rougher side of the north end most of my life ( 28 yo) recently moved downtown as of last year and it’s night and day difference. I can actually enjoy being outside and walking around. There aren’t any good convenient stores and the rent is astronomically high but it’s worth it for the safety.

Here’s the thing, the music on that video sucks. We have the best team song in the history of team songs, play that and we might like it.

This is like someone sending you video of them having sex with your ex.

If I didn't live downtown (which I love and feel very safe in) I would live in the West End. Where are you moving here from?

Echoing thread sentiment that this fucking annoys me
Don't leave the state then try to use the name to make some money
Fuck you

I live downtown and love it. I find the public transit is super convenient (you definitely need a car but I take public transit whenever possible). There are lots of good restaurants, bars, museums, etc. It's definitely a quiet area compared to any other city I've lived in, but I feel very safe.

Berry square is kind of wild, behind the rocks a little less so, but the west end or downtown are the most stable parts of the city

I'm a hard no. I'm not even native to this state but I have had to live with my hockey team moving to someplace that has no business having a hockey team. That's a tasteless cash grab. It's like when I was in a bar a while back (probably pre-pandemic) and they played Brass Bonanza in the stadium after the Hurricanes scored a goal. Nope. You're dead to us.

I’ve always thought Hartford needs a pro team other then the AA Yard Goats… get the Whalers back as an expansion team or something, that’d be good for the city.
