Why not just use discord or reddit or any number of other places if you want to chat with new people? Not saying this as a diss but I think that would take the website away from its real intent.

Honestly it just felt to me like the high fives were empty and I was trying to think of a way to make them feel more meaningful.

Discord is something completely different.

Discord has always felt pretty low risk to me at least. Just don’t be an idiot on it obviously
