My dad never laughs at my jokes anymore. Mostly because he was cremated.

In hindsight,we should’ve waited until he died.

When I pass, I’d like to go as my grandfather did. Peacefully in his sleep.

Unlike the passengers in his car.

Maybe the true joke is the dad we found along the way

I like to tell Dad jokes, but he’s dead.

Sorry. I have a rather morbid sense of humour.

Do really miss my dad though.

I’m truly sorry for your loss.

My dad died 19 years ago this month. Tbf, I only got to meet him a few times. My parents spilt not long after I was born. But, I knew him through my teens and very early twenties. He was always nice to me, and made me feel like i had family, so he did his job well I think.
